Cole Hocker: Rising Star in Track and Field

YOUNGEST RUNNER IN OLYMPIC 1500-METER FIELD

American middle- and long-distance runner Cole Hocker has made a name for himself in recent years, and is now the youngest runner in the Olympic 1500-meter field.

Born on June 6, 2001, Hocker holds multiple national titles in annual competitions organized by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USATF). He turned 20 just a month ago, but has already made waves in the sport world.

At the recent Olympic Trials, Hocker became the youngest man to win the 1500-meter event. The University of Oregon sophomore maneuvered through traffic in the final 200 meters of the race to out-kick reigning world champion Timothy Cheruiyot.

Hocker's victory gives him plenty of confidence heading to the Paris Games. He is now the only American man to have won the 1500-meter title at the Olympic Trials twice in a row.

Hocker's success is a testament to his hard work and determination. He is a rising star in track and field, and one to watch in the years to come.
