Early Life and Career
Thomas Paul Fleetwood was born on January 19, 1991, in Southport, England. He began playing golf at the age of 5 and quickly rose through the junior ranks. In 2015, he turned professional and began playing on the Challenge Tour, where he won twice in his debut season.
PGA Tour and European Tour
Fleetwood joined the PGA Tour and European Tour in 2016 and quickly established himself as one of the top players in the world. He has won seven times on the PGA Tour and five times on the European Tour, including the 2020 Abu Dhabi Championship and the 2021 Nedbank Golf Challenge.
Ryder Cup and Other Accomplishments
Fleetwood has represented Europe in the Ryder Cup twice, in 2018 and 2021. He has also competed in the Olympic Games, winning a silver medal in team play at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
